I am not a bird watcher myself but some of you may be,if so you may be interested to know that I saw a Red Kite on Saturday 23rd July above the A530 at Wimboldsley between Crewe and Middlewich.

Lincoln Cream biscuits, the ones with the little bobbles on them.

So once again the touchy feely brigade have their way. What should be banned is that very loud sound system that Roger Draper thinks is so wonderful.

Dr Allen was our family Doctor. His surgery was at No 1 Manchester Road. I believe he was originally from the Isle Of Skye.

I did not hear anything myself but then I do live at Nantwich. Now I will try to be serious. Many years ago some residents in Gorsey Lane had a similar problem. The reason that was put forward was that the noise was created by traffic on th M6 and the unique acoustic properties in Gorsy Lane enabled the residents to hear the noise under certain conditions.

I drove down Lumbrook Road today expecting to see a fine display of wild flowers on the side of the road which I have admired for a few years at this time of year. Instead I found brown strips which had obviously been mown and may have had weed killer applied. Before I go off on a proper rant can someone assure me that some mindless vandal from the council is not responsible for this and that there is a good reason as to why this has happened.
