observer
Seems Mrs May has the public mood, or at least the majority; and is going for a hard Brexit. So the ball is in the EU court; do they try to punish us as an example to the other 27, or do they apply common sense and risk others leaving the club ? asperity
She isn't going for a "hard Brexit", she is going for that which the majority voted - leaving the EU with no frills. I'm happy with that. The UK is a world leader, not the poodle of the EU.
observer
Don't disagree Asp: but if you listen to the news and the arch-Remoaners like Tim Farron and Nicola Krankie; you'd think there was a choice in the matter. No more free movement (ie immigration) = no membership of a single market; yes we all get it, we got it at the referendum when we voted OUT. Davy51
Amazing how these non descript politicians in the Remoan camp are trying to turn themselves into Euro statesmen/women.
observer
In an age devoid of Statesmen, where politics have been reduced to PC twitter trivia; Theresa seems to be making an attempt at decisive Leadership; unlike her opponents.
