observer
Seems complaints about the Police behaviour at Orgreave, during the Miner's Strike, won't be investigated due to the "passage of time". Perhaps if the Miner's allege that the Police groped them, rather than simply beating them up; they may get somewhere !
Davy51
It is definitely interesting how facts & figures get distorted & records disappear Obs. I don't know whether you saw the Panorama programme on alleged police collusion in Northern Ireland & their reluctance to prosecute informers even though these people were known to have committed murders with firearms or explosives. Apparently none of these people will ever be brought to justice either.
observer
Wasn't quite the point I was making Dave ! But often in history, political expediency trumps justice in order to give the appearance of solutions, thus allowing everyone to move on.
