My answer is D all of the above

Well ok it was going to be A & B ie 5 minutes between the 12 and 1 for the big hand or 60 mins between 12 o'clock and 1 o'clock for the little hand but Wolfie's answer sounded convincing even though I haven't got a clue what he's on about re 1 degree being 60 mins :oops::lol:

well done wolfie well spotted.

 

One degree refers to an angle.

The angle between 12 and 3 is 90 degrees a right angle.

The angle between 12 and 1 is 30 degrees.

One degree of angle can be further divided for accuracy into minutes.

One minute of angle is 1/60 of a degree.

 

Minutes of time were named after minutes of angle as it was "convenient" to divide hours into 60 divisions, minutes.
