  1. M'lud.... I didn't even know a trial was under way. Must have missed the Memo.
  2. Yes. www.facebook.com/WarringtonLeave Of course, this will skew the results to some extent, but the page only has 65 likes. The other community pages have many thousands of Likes/members.
  3. Nope. The only FB group I know that is dedicated to the remaining in side is StrongerInCampaign. They don't permit visitors to post articles.
  4. I've posted it on all the local FB community groups/pages (where permitted). Off the top of my head... Chapelford, Stockton Heath, Bewsey, Dallam, Lymm, Kingswood, Westbrook, Great Sankey, Penketh.... there may be a few others, and I'm still waiting for permission on some.
  5. observer, I agree. However, there is still a long way to go in this debate. Unfortunately, the Remain side have been dictating the agenda so far, and are focusing on Trade/Economy aspects, which is the safest area for them. The Leave side will soon be shifting the discussion towards Democracy, Sovereignty, TTIP, Immigration, CAP/CFP. I'm patiently waiting to hear just a single Remain person extol the virtues of us becoming part of a United States of Europe. That is the bottom line, and once the British people realise the final destination, the Leave side should build up a bit of a lead.
  6. Various Facebook community groups, Warrington Guardian, Warrington worldwide, Warrington Police... etc
  7. Why? Well, you pointed out the obvious anomaly yourself. Such a poll has absolutely no meaning if the only people filling it in are all Pro-Brexit. If you can point me in the direction of an EU Referendum forum that has a random mix of Eurosceptic/Europhile members, great.
  8. P.J. That link has been posted on plenty of forums that are not related to the EU referendum.
  9. All, Could everyone reading this quickly answer the survey question below on the EU Referendum? It will take 5 seconds. Please Share it on your Social Media feeds also EU Referendum: Quick poll (facebook.com/WarringtonLeave/)
  10. As an example of EU waste, this is just the tip of the Iceberg. How about the CAP, that soaks up 40% of the WHOLE budget each year, but yet contributes only 1.5% to productivity. Even ardent Europhiles concede it's insane, but everyone agrees that the EU is stuck with this situation forever because of France's veto. Or maybe we could talk about the EU Parliament travelling circus, which relocates to Strasbourg every month, for absolutely no good reason. This costs the EU £170m each year. I could go on.... there are lots more examples.
  11. Can I just step into this discussion... it is topical. Just wanted to let you know that there is now a dedicated Facebook page especially for Warrington residents that covers the Leave arguments in the forthcoming EU referendum. A lot of people have been asking for more information on this subject, before deciding. As the government are now spending £9m on presenting their arguments for staying in, this page at least provides counter-arguments. Please feel free to comment, and invite your friends to Like it if you think it is worthwhile visiting https://www.facebook.com/WarringtonLeave/
  12. Everyone I've spoken to is voting to Leave the EU, I don't know anybody who wants to stay. The more I think about it, I can't think of a single reason why we should stay, but I can think of many for leaving.
